Washi Lamp

Simple tube lamps made of Japanese paper print. I came across traditional Katazome washi paper in Kyoto printed with turn of a century kimono patterns. I enjoy seeing things ended up in unexpected places. Japanese paper printed in small workshop in Kyoto could be ended up in London flat next to mid-century furniture. Lamps has been sold at Family Tree, Liberty of London and many other retailers around the world.
